The Munich Economic Summit is a joint initiative of CESifo
— the international platform of Munich University's Center for Economic Studies and the Ifo Institute for Economic Research — and the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt.
The 2003 Summit will focus on Europe in the global economy, discussing approaches and solutions to the current crisis in capital markets, the new trade negotiations and the general European economic performance.
