The Munich Economic Summit convenes annually and brings together academic scholars and decision-makers in politics, industry and finance to discuss major European issues.The 2002 Summit will focus on Europe after enlargement, covering such policy topics as the integration of new member states, the role of the European Central Bank and the question of necessary reforms to European institutions.
